Error during upgrade SPS9 using SUM

Hello all,

 

 

During NetWeaver 7.4 upgrade from SPS5 to SPS9 on our consolidation system in step 5.5 Pre-processing, I've got below error:

I've tried to repeat that action but it did not help. In previous week I've finished exactly the same upgrade on development system and I did not have any

problems. For now I have no clue why it is does work. If it is upgrade fault or might be problem on sybase side.

In logs I've seen something weird:


"Error while setting identity property for column C""RR_ID of logging table /1CRR/LT00001387"" "" "' raised".

 

It seems that table above can not be activated, I've spoke with our DBA's and they claimed that for them DB looks OK .....

 

If someone will have any solution I will be grateful.

How to set the Internal Number range (eg:20Z001) to the PO

Hello,

 

Can anyone help me, how to set the Internal number range in alpha numeric,

 

When i was working with the BAAN application, I have seen the PO# in alpha numeric,

 

were as when im customizing the same in SAP, we dont have the option for internal number range, we have this for External number range only,

 

Can any one help me,

IDM 7.2 installation

Hi All,

 

I am in the process of installing IDM 7.2 , O/S RHlinux and DB Oracle 11.2. (Dev/sandbox)

 

I have completed NW java stack installation.

 

Now when I am trying to follow the steps for identity center database installation,

 

the installation guide says the following

 

Note: The Identity Center database  must be installed on separate database server, it is not possible to use a SAP installed Oracle database.

 

I am bit confused here whether I can install oracle (using mxmc-update.sh) on the same server or not on which I have already installed Standalone java.(Java is installed on oracle 11.2)..

 

I checked few threads which says I can...can any one please confirm.

and can we change the sequence of steps mentioned in the guide(please suggest)

 

the guide says to follow the following sequence which is bit confusing.

 

1. Install the database system.

2. Install the Identity Center database schema.

3. Install the Java Runtime Environment.

4. Install the database client.

5. Install the JDBC drivers.

6. Install the Management Console.

7. Install the Runtime Components.

8. Install and configure SAP NetWeaver AS Java.

9. Install the Identity Management User Interface.

10. Post-installation: Configure the Java Runtime Environment.

11. Post-installation: Add the JDBC drivers to the CLASSPATH extension.

Configuration for Central SLD in HA

Hello Experts,

 

 

We have our central SLD system (ABAP+JAVA) 7.31 in HA with ASCS/SCS and DB as SPOF and clustered and CI as non clustered component.

The physical host for ASCS/SCS,DB and CI/ DI  are different . Currently for connecting to SLD the satellite systems uses CI-host and 5<instno>00 as port  , which does not makes it High Available as if CI goes down SLD won't be reached .So my questions are :

 

1)How to make sure the SLD is Highly Available if CI goes down as CI is not in HA and we do not plan to take CIinto HA.

 

2)We want to use ASCS/SCS host and gateway for connecting to SLD. How this can be achieved. As the same gives error in SLDAPICUSTand RZ70. Although for CIhost it worksfine butthanits not Highly available.

 

Using SAP webdispatcher for load balancing can be aoption but in that case whatsettings would be required for RZ70. If anyone of you have had similar situationand solution pleasedo suggest.

client copy issue

I have a sandbox client 500 in prd and i am trying to client export from sand box to dev client 210  i could run the SCC8 for client export and ran it successfully i did login to client 210 dev system i am not able to import as it is not loaded in the development system with client import with scc7.

 

Need some help regarding this.

Configtool templates are missing

while using config tool, we are unable to see the templates below cluster-data. when we try to change template it shows error while changing.

Please advice on this.

Hi Mates,

 

I am geting this error very frequently in my system log.But when i check for inconsistencies there is no inconsistencies available.Can anyone suggest me how to analyze this error.Are there any specific notes from Temporary inconsistencies..

Transport release issue

Hello All,

 

One of the developer released a TR.

 

Now he wants to import into PRD,but while adding no co-files or data files is the error.

 

But when checked only co-file is generated and no data file generated.

 

Can someone suggest on this,it is very urgent.

how do they differ.

HI Guys,

 

Can some one tell me which version of SPM is suitable for IDES Ecc6.0 EHP7 as i can find latest version of SPM which is having sap bussiness suite 7i 2013 support release 1 and sap bussiness suite 7i 2013 support release 2 and my question can i use can of these release for ides installation as shown in screenshot

TMSADM connection refused

Hi ,

 

my transport route was altered since i had sandbox client in PRD to delevery route to DEV was created then the qas system gave connection refused with 10061 error number ,  When i checked the RFC TMSADM@quality.domain.dev   is refused connection.  Now i did delete the delivery route configured was removed and still the issue of the RFC Connections is refused.  i still see my quality  status as obselete.   I suppose the domain controller in the Development has been changed.

 

Please let me know how to restore the settings.

Could Not Read Import Queue MIP

Hi Mates,

 

Our ABAPers created a new TR and informed me Transport that TR to QAS aand PRD.

I transported the TR to QAS and it got imported. However when i tried to forward the TR to PRD i am getting the above error.

   We restarted all the SAP systems yesterday and i had got a error saying cant reach the landscapre directory.However when i checked the transport tool i got the message saying the tp profile has an invalid format.

   I ran the tcode TU02 in SAP and saw that some parameters have changed automatically.How can i check and correct.

 

In the parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT and DIR_TRANS the name should have been \\SYSTEM Name\sapmnt\trans\EPS

but it has changed to \\50\sapmnt\trans\EPS. Why it has changed to 50?? can anyone provide me solution how to correct.Capture1.JPGCapture2.JPGCapture3.JPG

Hi all

I need help

In "solman_setup -> system preparation->4.Configure connectivity->Set Authentication Policy for agents" I have error "Error While calling Diagnostics setup web service". The details show give me

CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 503 : Service Unavailable")

these three lines.

When I try to open "Agent Administration" I Get

het system copy cluster tables

Hi

i retake a discussion i had some days ago about an heterogenous system copy about system 7.01 with many tablespaces created ad hoc .

 

TSORA IAORA inconsistencies

 

The problem was that in target system there weren't the same tablespaces of source system. For five of them , infact, the tables came back to original tablespace PSAPSR3.

4 of these  tables  are cluster tables:

RFBLG (BSEG, BSEC,etc)

KOCLU ( KONV)

CDCLS (CDPOS)

EDI40 (EDID4)

 

I saw that there was a problem in TSORA TAORA and IAORA , missing the entries for these tablespaces. I've adjusted these tables and changing the se13 associating the referred table name to the right class (ex USR62,USR63,etc) and activated it.

I did the same thing also for a not cluster table like STXL and only for this table i solved the problem.

Fot other cluster table i see in export that program r3ldctl and r3szchk don't take these new entries ...only the DDLORA.TPL is right.....but in DBSIZE.XML no tablespace for the four cluster tables.

In STR files i find the following entry:

 

:{xxxadm}:/mnt/xprt_p1e/EXPP1E2/ABAP/DATA> grep KOCLU *.STR

KOCLU.STR:tab: KOCLU

KOCLU.STR:att: CLUST   3  ?? C all    KOCLU~0                        CLUST   3

 

 

It seems that it looks for entry in taora called CLUST

 

Am i missing something to solve this situation?

Dear Experts,

 

We are doing upgrade of PI  System from NW 7.3 to NW 7.3 EHP1 SP14

with SUM Tool 1.0SP12_14.

 

Our system : ( AIX, DB2 , PI -  NW 7.3 )

 

We got stuck on ABAP Extraction phase in SUM ,

 

Below is the error: unable to execute the sdt request abap operation extract on hostname

and also  we got the error as could not connect to host on port 4240.''

 

Unable to execute the SDT request ABAP operation extract on hostname

Extraction of the ABAP upgrade request ABAP has failed

Error from unit observer Tool connector failed.

Connection to SAPup could not be established, see following messages.

Could not connect to host <hostname> on port 4240.

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

 

 

1.I tried to do the upgrade with fresh SUM from Market place , but I got stuck at extraction

phase .

2. we have tried to free the port 4240  and also we had taken a clean

reboot of system , still it point to the same error

3. we have used to change the port and run the below command

./STARTUP httpport=4438 guiport=4436 -srvarg=/UseCaseService/abaptoolport=4434

and we have changed the port 4240 to 4440 in sdt request.xml and sdtstatistics......xml

4. given full permissions on Upgrade DIR -- No luck.

 

but unfortunately no luck , still we stuck on this error

 

Below  attached is the snapshot of the issue on SUM and We have issue on PIP  system

 

Could you please help us in resolving the issue  or give us suggestions.
