NW 7 installation stopped with error while loading db6level.

Hi Experts.

We are installing new NW 7 Java system on AIX with DB2. Our AIX version

is 5.3.

At the phase create database instance sapinst is stopped with error.

Error is directing to file db6level.log. Error mentioned in this file

isas below.

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program db6level because of the following

errors:

rtld: 0712-001 Symbol __pthread was referenced

      from module db6level(), but a runtime definition

      of the symbol was not found.

rtld: 0712-002 fatal error: exiting.

I am not getting any info about this error in any docs. DB2 version

which

is with installation NW is 9.1

Can any one please advice me on this.
