System Copy Regenerate Security Role Profile

After a system copy to our 7.31 BW system we had to regenerate the security role profile else users didn't have proper authorities.

Our process is to do an scc8 prior to a system copy, do the system copy then import the scc8 transport.

Has anyone had this experience with a system copy before?

I've never had to regenerate profiles before.
