Hello Experts,

we administer our System Landscape with SAP MC (as one of the many tools ) and currently have a problem inserting a system into it, which is in DMZ at customer side.

We are able to reach this system through our local SAPGui with saprouter string, as we have entered the systems details in saprouttab and allow connection from our PC.

For example:

Application server: sapserver.shared.dmz

Instance Number: 02

System-ID: PRD

SAPRouter-String: /H/routerhost/S/3299/H/

This works perfectly, but the question is: How can we enter this System into our SAP MC landscape?

Since we only have the option to enter Instance-Host and Insitance-Number here. Should we modify our landscape file (which are plain-text)?

We use SAP MC from our 7.31 SP05 Portal.

Hello All,

We recently had ECC system(ECC6 EHP6) with oracle DB installed in windows server.

After i am finished with Oracle installation and CI installation.I can see everything is running fine

SAP MMC is working fine,all the work process and logs

database in running mode(SQL plus "/as sysdba")-OPEN state

but when i try to configure it in SAPGUI and then i try to access it from GUI i get the below error message

SAP GUI 710 SAP System Message: sql error occurred when accessing program SAPM

Please help me in solving this issue.

Hi friends,

The WP traces are quite huge; the dev_wnn.old files (which contain the
interesting information) have a size of about 400 MB each.

When we select in report RSMON000_DOWNLOAD_TRACES the options:
- Dialog work processes
- Save Old Trace files too

then we get dump
ABAP Programming Error
COMPUTE_INT_PLUS_OVERFLOW
CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW
RSMON000_DOWNLOAD_TRACES
BC-CST

I needed to find the data growth in the database in our landscape .When I tried to run the Txn DB02 to find the data trend , I don't see any data there.

Database : Oracle 11.2

OS: RHEL

Can you suggest what's wrong here?

Hi,

We are working on the DR setup. Our database is SQL server 2008R2. Our production system is on MSCS cluster and we are setting the DR system on an additional hardware.

I am configuring log shipping on my SQL database. During log shipping configuration when browsing for the secondary database on the primary database, its not able find the secondary database. Its only showing the primary database. attached snapshot for your reference.

Please help us to resolve this.

I am getting this step of ASU toolbox while trying to upgrade SAP GATEWAY 2.0 using SUM tool.I went through the SAP note 1000009 . Also I went to tcode /n/ASU/UPGRADE and got a list of notes.Is it obligatory to implement all these notes?

Hi All,

I am having Production server Node1 and Node2 cluster windows .

Now the issue is if resorces in Node1 I am able to run DBACOCKPIT t code and able to see everything on node 1 .

If resources in Node2 I am not able to open DBACOCKPIT its showing message "Server error ,404-File or directory not found "

" The resources you are looking for might have been removed ,had its name changed or its temporary unavailbale "

Please suggest I need mainatain any thing in instance profile to resolve the issue.

We have taken full backup and how can we test the backup in sybase .

We need to check the backup to restore or ?

Hello,

If we increase the number or R3toad processes for EhP application, it increases parallelism.

Therefore phases like TABIM_TRANS consume less time.

But increasing this number of processes also implies more "ORA-00060: Deadlock detected".

These deadlocks consume time.

Therefore I am interested by setting this parameter correctly by selecting the best compromise.

1. Which typical value do you set for this parameter?

2. Is there a way to find the optimal value?

hi,

How can i check and verify whether in a Netweaver installation BI (Business Intelligence) is installed / configured or not?

Is it possible to get an idea by looking at the components (System->status->Component version)

In the Netweaver installation, it is only having ABAP stack. It is not having Java stack. So if we configuring BI, what would be the best method.

(Is it separately install Java stack on a separate server and integrating that with the ABAP stack?)

We did a system refresh & the BDLS ran for a very long duration in our SCM system. Table RSDDSTATDTP was processing for 7 hours.

Can we schedule a clean up of the table before the activity with the job SAP_RSDDSTAT_DATA_DELETE.

Also what are the data that would be affected by this cleanup & this was recommended for BI system . Can we schedule for SCM. Please advice.

I am do a clean installation of NetWeaver 7.0 SR3. When it comes to the start instance phase, the WP could not be started. I have checked the dev_w0, there is an error says:

I have 4 GB RAM and 20GB swap space, so I think this is not due to memory bottle neck.

we could able to send mail from SCOT and user receives it. But along with it they get delivery failed message also.

why is the devlivery failed message coming to the user eventhough they get actual message correctly.

Please help me out to resolve the issue.

how to track it down.

Note: Users able to open actual message without an issue
