By mistake i have change the system setting via SCC4 and change log contains my user id.
how can i revert to the back setting. i have check in T000 table contains last change my name i have changed via db level but
report RSVTPROT fetch the log.
Please suggest how can i delete the log and which table contains the T000 logs in sap.
rec/client is set in profile.

I want to install r/3 enterprise 4.7 ext 2.00 sr1 on windows 2008 standard edition. Even thought 4.7 only supports Win 2000 or 2003, the purchase of new hardware delivered only with 2008, as vendor say cannot go-for 2003 for warranty.
The main this is client wants to export data into new installed 4.7 from existing system.
Existing System details: Win 2003, Mssql 2000, R/3 enterprise 4.7 ext 2.00 sr1
New system: win 2008, Ms sql 2000, R/3 enterprise 4.7 ext 2.00 SR1
Here are my questions.
Can we proceed to install 4.7 on 2008 server?
Can we install Mssql2005 instead of MSsql 2000 hence it is not compatible with Win2008
or
Can we go for Homogenous copy or Heterogeneous copy?

I am trying to install a PAT file in a system and get the following error while installing.
'Conflicts between Add-on XYZ 6.10 and other components'
Here, the problem is, we have a software component ABC earlier, and we decided on changing the software component name to XYZ and created a new PAT file. So while installing this PAT file, it errors out saying conflict between components.
what we could do here to keep the new name ?

Should we use SUM for the upgrade?..since just one component to be upgraded..how to use the SUM and the options to be selected?

Hi Friends,
I am configuring SAP ECC 6.0 ERP with EHP 6 in Suse enterprise 11.0 SP 2 Cluster , DB as Sybase 15.7 version . I am configuring cluster as Active - active mode with 2 nodes of CI and DB, the installation went well but while testing cluster found that , cluster automatically is not switching from one node to another , i have to manually start the sap service on second node.
Please let me know what went wrong.
Please share document or step by step configuration of SAP and SuSe linux will be highly appreciated. I am already behind the schedule to make the cluster up and running.
Please help me to resolve the issues.

I have entry in our CRM outbound queue with status READY & destination as NONE & two LUW within it with status "Transaction recorded", this queue needs to transfer data from CRM to ECC.
I am trying to activate the queue & while activating the queue I try to change the destination from NONE to ECCCLNT100 & then below window pops up & it does nothing.

We have a two year old PI 7.1 system Dual Stack that has a Central Instance and SCS instance.
Now we want to do a system copy to another PI 7.1 system and the only choice we have is to install Primary Instance plus ASCS plus SCS.
Did SAP change the architecture for NW 7.1 after they released NW 7.1? Or am I missing something here.
I rather not create the 3 instances due to connectivity issues.

I have a transaction which executes several function modules through RFC calls in the same system as part of its execution.
When I try to see the statistics in ST03N, the values are not accurate, since the statistics for the RFC calls are stored on the RFC 'transaction'.
I can use STAD transaction to see a specific execution, but in our case we get daily/weekly statistics summarized for all users, then STAD is not an option.
Any idea on this?

I have installed BP -Baseline packges BP-ERP 606 in development server ,the purpose I have installed is requirment of smartforms for SD & MM,Now my consultant are tested and now its working fine.
NOw the issue is after addon instaltion ,I am moving one TR to Qulaity server while moving TR its showing "installed software componets are not matching ".
I heard generally best practices are installed in SAND box system,but I dont have sand box thats why installed in Development server.
Now My doubt is is there any problem can we do add-on in quality and production servers to same stack level as Devlopment server.

End users have come back to us on an upgraded EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 system saying a specific transaction, CK40N, is compiling. Due to time constraints we are trying to avoid running SGEN on every component on the system and the REPLIST file doesn't exist in the work directory. Is there a way to pin down what software component a specific transaction or program would be included in?

We have created web service using function module and .NET application will be consuming the webservice.
.NET application trying to update SAP web reference getting "SOAP envelope error".
We tried to check SICF transaction /sap/bc/srt/wsdl, but test service is failing with below mentioned message
No service definition, interface name, or binding specified
Do you think there is relation between error faced by .NET application and SICF service failing?.
If you have any solution, please pass on to me. It's URGENT.

Using SUM 1.0 for the upgrade of SAPJVM 4.01.32 from 4.01.19 in a NW 7.0 - JAVA stack.
choosing the option Manually prepared directory for the target SAR file.
but it does not detect the file and shows "Incorrect input provide the correct path to the directory"..even tried from different directories..but it didnt detect the SAR file.
How to make it to detect the file
