netweaver rfcsdk multi-threading
We have implemented an RFC client (C lang) using the netweaver rfc sdk (currently using sdk v721 p614).
On single-thread environments everything works fine.
But now, we are working on a multi-threaded task that requires several concurrent RFC calls to the backend.
In some cases (let's say on 1-3 out of 8 threads), we get the following error while converting utf8 encoded strings to utf16 (and vice versa) using the provided RfcUTF8ToSAPUC & RfcSAPUCToUTF8 functions:

group: EXTERNAL_RUNTIME_FAILURE (5)
message: cannot convert from codepage 4110to codepage 4103
Every thread creates and uses it's own connection to the backend.
Is there anything that has to be done to able to use the sdk on a multi threading enviroment? Are there any limitations?

User "Number of transactions" differs after System Copy
Hello everybody,
I do have an issue here on a copied system. Prehistory to this is: A productive system (PRD) was copied to create a brand new system (TST) for testing purpose. DB is MSSQL. There was no system refresh. So in this case all users were transferred from PRD to TST.
Now some users cant run transactions in the TST while these transactions work perfectly in the PRD. By running SU01 --> Information System --> Transactions --> Executable Transactions (All Selection Options) I was comparing the PRD to the TST.
Comparison between PRD (first screen) and TST (second screen) looks like:
As you can see the number of transactions differs a lot!
Any clue on how to solve my problem here? I already tried to "Reset User Buffer" in SU53 --> Authorization Values - no success.

SAPLOLEA - Dump when access DB12

SM37 Job scheduling for same jobs
Hi Experts,
Is there anyway to automated process in SM37/SM36 to stop the periodic jobs if they are cancelled in the last run?. Basically, our interface job runs every hour and in a scenario if the job fails then next run should not start.

SAPinst and Kernel 7.22
Hello,
I just upgraded my existing SAP system from 7.01 kernel to 7.22.
Now, I have to create a copy of this system on another server but it seems that my Install Master (Inst._Master_NW_7.01_SR1__BS7_SR1) doesn't support package kernel 7.21 (721 EXT UC Kernel for SWPM SP9 - Windows on x64) and I did not manage to find another Install Master that could be OK.
Is someone has an idea on how to proceed for an homogenious copy of an ECC6 (EHP4) on SAP NW 7.01 with Kernel 7.21/7.22 ?

Query on SAP Router
Hi Experts,
We have SAP router installed on the the same server where our SAP DEV system is installed.
Recently there was a hardware migration happened on this server as a result the hardware key is changed, we requested a new license and with the new hardware key and everything is fine with that SAP DEV system.
Now my query is do we need to request a new certificate for the SAP Router as the hardware key is changed?
Also FYI information, during the hardware migration IP address of my SAP DEV server where SAP router is also installed in changed. Now I am not able to figure out the issues happening with the SAP Router...
I tired updated the SAP Router server IP address in OSS1, SAPROUTTAB, System Data in marketplace etc... still i am having issue with the SAP Router.
Any suggestion are appreciated.

SAP Help Library Configuration Problem

We have trying to install SAP Help Library,
Our server is Linux, we installed SAP Library using SWPM, created a file "saphelp" in file system. It down successfully,
After that using windows frond end system try to configure it. Using the follow methods,
1. Tcode - SR13
2.New Entry
2. HtmlHelpFile
Variant - SAP HELP FILE
Platform - WN32
Area - IWBHELP
Path - //linux server IP/saphelp/HTMLHELP
lan - EN
After this create Request and save , then go to HELP----> Settings------>Application help and select area.
After that trying to access SAP Help, Showing the error,
Can any one please help me to resolve this issue, i search a lot but cant find any suitable solution, awaiting for your earliest replay,

Database free space. Oracle ASM
Hi Experts
We are using Oracle ASM for SAP systems. Inside ASM space details; as usual ;we have different names like ACFS, ARCH, DATA, RECO, MLOG etc. For SAP; when we see free space in DB02 or DB02old; it shows 900 GB free. The DB02 data is upto date; collector logs are active and data is refreshing fine.
But if we go to asmcmd and check free space in DATA/; it shows 400GB free. So its causing bit of confusion while we mention about free available space in database. Which one should we consider; and shouldn't these two entries be the same?
Searched a lot but I am not able to identify the relation between +ASM DATA total/free space and DB02 total/free space. These entries differ by a big margin. How and from where DB02 is showing this data 900 GB free? And does 400 GB free of +ASM DATA/ has direct relation with DB02 free space or it should be equal to DB02 free space.
Could you please share details to clarify my question. We are getting alert that DATA/ has less than 500 GB free (which is correct); but when we check in DB02; it gives 900 GB free (I suppose; this is correct as well). Both total and free space entries are not matching for all SAP systems.

Oracle /DATA free space
Hi Experts
We have been getting alerts for less free space in database for our BW system . BW team has done lot of PSA cleanup in last couple of days. But we don't see any improvement in DB02 free space or in /DATA free space in ASM asmcmd.
Could you please advise if this will reflect immediately in /DATA free space in ASM or any other activity like reorg; restart or backup etc is required.

I can´t execute SCC7 - post processing
Good morning, SAP Gurus.
When try to execute SCC7 TX. i can´t because show me different request and other profile and I don´t know how to resolve this problem.
Right request are: <SID>KT02377 and <SID>KX02377
The import finished OK.
Exectue SCC7 and load different request <SID>KT05476 and profille is SAP_USER (should be SAP_ALL)

System Copy
Hi Experts,
I have to create a new sandbox system using online backup from the production system. I can't take export or offline backup as outage for the production systems is not possible. Can you please give me the detailed document for a system copy (in a new system) in Linux and Oracle?
Also, in this case, the infrastructure team would need to only copy over the /oracle/<sid>/sapdata* , /oracle/<sid>/origlog* and /oracle/<sid>/mirrlog* files?

ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol after upgrading to Oracle 12c for JAVA systems
Hi everyone,
We have an issue after we upgraded our MCOD databse to from Oracle 11204 to 12102.
The database is distributed and all central instances are installed on server1 (SAP JD1 and PD1) server and database is installed on server2 . All SAP instances are installed as MCOD in G00 database (server2).
The operating system we have on both server1 and server2 is
Linux server1 2.6.32-573.18.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jan 6 11:20:49 EST 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Everything was performed successfully, but after the upgrade JAVA for PI (PD1) (release 7.1) and NetWeaver JAVA system (JD1) (701 release) was not able to start as the connection to the database didn't work.
Config tool is not working as well as is getting the same error.
In order to try fixing the issue we tried the following:
1. Implemented the recommendations from SAP Note 2218723 (set SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_SERVER = 8 in sqlnet.ora on both database servers G00 (in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/sqlnet.ora), JD1 (/sapmnt/JD1/profile/oracle/sqlnet.ora) and PD1 (/sapmnt/PD1/profile/oracle/sqlnet.ora)
After we set this parameter we restarted the listener located on G00 server but the issue was not fixed. In order to be sure the parameter is read, we tried to use other value than 8 and than configtool generated other error so we concluded the parameter from sqlnet.ora is read
2. As the solution from SAP note 2218723 didn't help we upgraded as well oracle client from 11 to 12 but still the same error message
3. We upgrade JVM on JD1 system from 4.1.026 to 4.1.063 but still the same issue
4. We also tried to use JDBC driver ojdbc6.jar instead of ojdbc14.jar just for testing purposes but when we are using ojdbc6.jar the config tool is giving the following error:
Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 50.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 48.0
5. We also re link all Oracle executable using relink all option as user oracle
Could you please help us to fix the issue as we cannot start JD1 system and the JAVA stack from PD1 (ABAP+JAVA).
All other SAP systems which are installed in G00 MCOD database are working correctly.
For your information, we have also one portal system in G00 MCOD which is based on SAP NetWeaver 731 but this system is working correctly. This is using ojdbc6.jar.
Could you please help us to fix the issue as we are not able to start the systems?

Download files from C folders
Hi Experts,
When downloading documents from SAP cFolders in PLM production system, downloading takes a very long time and ultimately fails. When the download is retried, it usually succeeds. This happens with different file types, such as MS Office documents, ZIP and DXF files, but NOT with PDF files. Please anyone could suggest on this issue.

Transport request description different in QAS

The same TR in QAS import queue displaying with description "yyyyyy"
I have opened the object list it shows correct description as in DEV
My issue was in import queue showing different description.
